Hooptease 101:
In this all-levels workshop, we’ll start with the fundamentals of burlesque and hoopdance, then combine them to create a “hooptease” (hula-hooping burlesque) choreography.
We’ll practice on- and off-body hoop moves and tricks, then learn how to incorporate burlesque walks, bumps, grinds, shimmies, and even clothing removal – all while keeping the hoop spinning!
Wear comfortable clothing, e.g. dance/yogawear, and bare feet or athletic shoes. No experience necessary- workshop will be tailored to each individual’s needs and skill level, with both group instruction and one-on-one attention available.
Bring:
– a hoop, if you have one. (there will be extras available for use.)
– gloves and stockings to practice clothing removal/peels with. (May also bring a loose-fitting slip or dress, and a costume bra and panties, if you feel comfortable. All clothing removal will be done over workout clothes, and will be done at each individual student’s comfort level.)

Pants Off Dance Shop: The Art of Pantsing Yourself
Have you ever been somewhere and thought to yourself “I really would rather not be wearing pants right now”? Have you ever thought that the stupid pants you’re wearing are making it really hard for you to get naked in a sexy way? Like, damn it, I’m really tired of these pants getting in the way of everything I want in my life!?
It’s a tale as old as time.
But no more! Learn to love the practice of trou transmission.
In this class, we will work on the techniques and difficulties inherent in removing pants, as well as discuss the different approaches to a sexy pants peel.
What to Bring:
At least one pair of somewhat loose-fitting pants that you want experience removing, underwear, and shoes that can be taken off without unlacing.

Burlesque Stage Make up: Cut-Throat Cut-Creases
Created for performers who are interested in developing eye make-up skills with a focus on dramatic, seamless lines and airbrush blends in minutes on a show-bo budget. This class offers inexpensive, step-by-step methods to create two deadly precise, heavy-lidded looks that can be seen from the back row and can be seen from the back row and looks flawless in every photo.
What to Bring:
A pen and notebook
Make-up brushes (angled liner brush, 2-3 eyeshadow brushes)
A neutral/monochromatic eyeshadow palette
Black cream eyeshadow or liner
Liquid eyeliner
A mirror
Pre-Requisites:
This is a beginner to intermediate class.
Participation is completely optional, but hands on instruction will be provided.
Coming to class, foundation ready, is encouraged.
