Sassy the Poet

Shuntrice Smoot aka Sassy the Poet is the 2019 Queen of the South slam winner, the grand champion for Team Injustice, and has placed 2nd at the regional competition for the slam team Say What. She has lead numerous workshops across Taylors and Laurens, SC teaching people the power of healing through writing, and has been featured at shows, universities, and events all across South Carolina.

Lovely Lexy G

Lexus Gittens aka Lovely Lexy G hails from Fayetteville, NC with a unique style of poetry she’s been practicing since 8th grade summer. Her introspective and thought-provoking work will always leave you feeling something after the story is told.
