Beginning Glaze Application

This workshop will focus on application and use of cone 5 glazes. Basic application methods will be taught including dipping, pouring, trailing, brushing and spraying. Masking and resist techniques will be covered. How to minimize common problems will be addressed. Participants should bring 2 or 3 bisque pieces of stone ware or porcelain to test techniques. The pieces should not exceed 6 inches in any direction. Registration fee of $40 covers instruction, material and supplies. Class size limited to minimum of 2 and maximum of 6.
