Auditions for The Mothers Improv and Sketch Comedy Group

The Mothers, Trustus’ award-winning improv and sketch comedy group, will be hosting auditions for new members on August 19th and 20th at Trustus Theatre (520 Lady Street). Auditions will be held beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19th and at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 20th.

Please note that anyone auditioning only needs to attend one of these sessions, and not both. No preparation is needed, although The Mothers ask that everyone arrive 5-10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Auditions are group-based, so everyone will start and end at the same time and will involve group improv games and a sample sketch-writing session.

New members of The Mothers have the same responsibilities and opportunities all members have, and are immediately included in upcoming shows and in the comedy group’s writers’ meetings. Upcoming shows include September 22nd, 2023, November 3rd, 2023, and February 2nd, 2024.
