Artist-in-Residence Marius Valdes' Closing Reception

Celebrate the work of Richland Library’s first artist-in-residence during a closing reception from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m., Thursday, October 5 in the Gallery at Main. The exhibit, titled Burd Brains, showcases more than 40 new pieces, in the form of ink and digital drawings, plus several paintings in preparation for an upcoming children’s book project. Valdes plans to create and self-publish the new title in Fall 2017, which stars an introverted character, named Burd, who is having a bad day and looking for a quiet place to relax.
