Elephants! Runaway trains! A typhoon at sea! (Oh, my!) All this and much more is coming your way as a cast of five of Columbia’s best bring Around the World in 80 Days to life. Using little more than a few chairs, minimal props, and a whole lot of creativity, Chip Collins, Ellen Rodillo-Fowler, Jeffrey Sigley, Ripley Thames and Bill Arvay create an endless array of locales as Victorian gentleman Phileas Fogg attempts to win a wager that he can circle the globe in the then unheard-of time of eighty days.

Based on the classic Jules Verne novel, Mark Brown’s Around the World in 80 Days is a fast-paced, exciting comedy adventure that’s sure to please!

Travel with the actors to all seven continents and marvel as these five actors portray 39 different characters. Directed by Frank Thompson, Around the World in 80 Days will delight adults and children alike.
