An Evening of Wine & Words

An evening of spoken words with performance poet, activist, and teaching artist Tammaka Staley. It happens at Chayz Lounge, the intimate venue at Nonnah’s. Enjoy a light meal, dessert and wonderful list of wines before or during the show.

Tammaka is the 2017 co-champion of the annual Queen of the South Poetry Slam. She has performed as a featured artist at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts during the 2016 National American College Dance Festival in Washington, D.C., and has performed in over 30 venues across the country. Tammaka has work featured in the Huffington Post, HuffPost Black Voices, and SELF Magazine.

• Parking is $5 and refunded with validated receipt from Nonnah’s. Entrance is accessible from Park Street.
