The CMA and Auntie Bellum Magazine present a discussion of Anita Pollitzer. Meeghan Kane with Benedict College and Graham Dunchan of the South Caroliniana Library delve into the life of Anita Pollitzer, a friend and (informal) agent to Georgia O’Keeffe. Instrumental in launching O’Keeffe’s career, the native South Carolinian was a photographer and activist in her own right, eventually becoming a suffragist with the militant National Women’s Party (NWP).
