21st Century Summer Camp for the Developing Pianist (Ages 8 & Up)

 Prerequisite: One year or more of piano experience, ages 8 and older

In this five-day piano camp, students with at least one year of piano lesson experience will develop piano performance and music comprehension skills in an intensive week of activities. The daily schedule will include practice of prepared and new repertoire, duet and ensemble repertoire, piano technique, music theory, music history, and improvisation/composition. The camp will conclude with a recital performance by camp participants for an audience of family and friends. Classes will be enhanced using the latest music technology with Roland digital pianos.
