19th Annual Robert Smalls Lecture

Alondra Nelson will give a lecture entitled “Reconciliation Projects: Ancestry and DNA in Black Political Culture” at 7 p.m. at the School of Law on March 19th. Nelson writes about the intersections of science, technology, medicine and inequality. The author of many notable books, including The Social Life of DNA: Race, Reparations, and Reconciliation after the Genome, Body and Soul: The Black Panther Party and The Fight Against Medical Discrimination, Nelson’s essays reviews and commentary have appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Science, Boston Globe, and on National Public Radio.
