My art represent a time and a place, though not necessarily what you are
seeing. As one grows older, memories take on colors and lives all of their
own, and these are mine. These are my moments. Of truth, of realizations,
always showing up around dawn and dusk.
In the end, the piece is what it has become, not necessarily was intended,
but still holding that feeling one gets when something is over, or as finished
as it will ever be. Like I said. Moments. Some end beautifully, some have
no end at all.
Sometimes, the mood has been created from nothing, or from some little
thing that someone has discarded. Only to be repurposed into a little story.
A little history. These pieces that mean so much to me. The hidden stories,
the lost histories of Us. Whether using oil paint, or scrap pieces of metal
and wood, each piece carries a little something, a thought, a feeling. So
many things that no one but you will ever experience, and no words to
adequately convey those moments of clarity, and of understanding. The
beauty and heartbreak of so many lessons.
