Artist Statement
Acting on new ideas is what drives Howard Hunt. He returned to taking photographs in the 1990s when he had an opportunity to cultivate another love - the love of travel. Whether he's headed to France, Costa Rica, the mountains or just taking a kayak trip down the Saluda River, Howard's excitement for finding a stimulating image to capture on canvas or on film remains the same. His art has been accepted in locally and nationally recognized juror art shows. Also, his work has been added into private and commercial permanent collections. He has found great joy in sharing what is meaningful to him, and only hopes his work can spark a new idea or a memory in you.
