The Ritz, the 1936 Art Deco Movie House, is the home of the Newberry Community Players, a non-profit, volunteer run organization dedicated to bringing quality theatre opportunities to Newberry and the surrounding areas since 1975.

“I knew I wanted to direct this play because of the complex characters,” says board member and director, Courtney Cooper. “It has all the elements we love in a good story: comedy, drama, mystery, romance. It has it all.”

The four person cast includes Amy Brower, Tabitha Davis, Samuel Hetler and Lee O Smith.

“This show will make you laugh, cry, think, and hopefully give you something to talk about long after you leave the theatre.”
