Eco Printing on Silk Scarf

Caroline Harper brings us another great workshop. This is eco printing which is essentially a direct contact printing methods, drawing out pigments from plants to make interesting and often surprising market on silk fiber. We will dye one silk scarf with foraged leaves, even vegetable skins and coffee grounds. The bundling and steaming process will be used. There will be some wait while the bundles are steaming so bring your own art for show and tell. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Registration fee of $45 pays for supplies, instruction, and costs. Class size limited to minimum of 4 and maximum of 12.
